Serum: A gentle, multi-acid serum that goes deep into pores to clear blemishes, while gently exfoliating the surface of the skin to reveal a smooth, glowy, and more even complexion.
Spot Treatment: A fast-acting spot treatment with 10% sulfur to visibly shrink pimples, calm redness, and ease discomfort without over-drying.

Start with an acne-safe cleanser, then apply 1–2 pumps of the serum on clean, dry skin to gently exfoliate and keep pores clear. Apply a thick layer of the spot treatment directly to active breakouts—ideally at night. Follow with an acne-safe moisturizer in the PM and an acne-safe SPF in the AM.

If you’re new to exfoliating, start slow—just a few times a week—and build up to daily use as your skin adjusts. You can use this serum in the AM or PM, but if you’re applying it in the morning, always follow with SPF.
Yes! This serum has been clinically tested and shown to be safe for sensitive, acne-prone skin. The formula is powered by 12% humectants to boost hydration and help counteract dryness and sensitivity from exfoliation. It also contains calming ingredients to ensure that acne-prone and sensitive skin can benefit from its potent formula without irritation.
Since this is a multi-acid formula, we don't recommend using other strong actives like retinol, benzoyl peroxide, glycolic acid, or lactic acid at the same time to minimize the risk of irritation.
If you’re new to exfoliating, you might experience a purge—meaning you may see small pimples and bumps appear. This is completely normal! Salicylic acid works by diving deep into pores and bringing underlying buildup to the surface. This phase can last a few weeks, so stick with it and continue to slowly incorporate it into your routine.
Nope! This product won’t stain or bleach your clothes, towels, or bedding. It’s made with sulfur, which doesn’t have bleaching properties. Most spot treatments that stain contain benzoyl peroxide.
Our R+D team worked hard to minimize the classic sulfur scent. However, as a natural compound, you may experience a light scent.
This formula is ultra gentle, so you can use it as often as needed. Most people use it overnight, but it also works great as a daytime treatment on problem areas.

Works like a charm
This spot treatment is awesome. It shrinks pimples over night and doesn’t leave you red or with dry flaky skin. Sometimes I rub it in areas that are prone to breaking out as a preventative. Since using the Banu skincare line my skin has never looked better. I’m in love.

Gentle skin saver
I suffer from blackheads and breakouts but also dryness so salicylic cleansers were always too much for my combo skin. This is powerful enough to put on my t-zone and prevent blackheads etc and doesn't dry out the rest of my skin when paired with the jelly cleanser. This is my second bottle. So far 10 outta 10.

Best as mask, no smell, not drying
I like this product! It doesn't have a smell, like some other sulfur products do. It works best as a temporary spot treatment/mask rather than overnight. I usually leave it on acne spots for 30 mins-1 hr. Once it dries, it starts to crumble/flake off especially in areas of your face that move, so if you wear it to bed, you will have flakes/crumbs of the product coming off on your pillow and sheets. It isn't drying and doesn't make my skin red like benzoyl peroxide can. It's not a miracle product that's going to cure your acne in one or a few uses, but it's a good non-irritating tool to have on hand! My favorite sulfur product I've tried so far.
