Like many of you, Iβve struggled with acne for years. My journey has been frustrating, isolating, and often made worse by the very products that were supposed to help. The skincare industryβs approach to acne care never made it any easier; from clinical and sterile packaging, to formulas that burned my skin, and messaging that made me feel ashamed for having acne.
Thatβs why I created banu: a brand that puts people with acne-prone skin at the centerβnot the sidelines. A brand that invites us into the world of beauty, not just to clear our skin, but for any other skincare goals we may have. One thatβs clinically tested, uncompromisingly acne-safe, and infused with joy.Β
