Like many of you, I’ve struggled with acne for years. My journey has been frustrating, isolating, and often made worse by the very products that were supposed to help. The skincare industry’s approach to acne care never made it any easier; from clinical and sterile packaging, to formulas that burned my skin, and messaging that made me feel ashamed for having acne.
That’s why I created banu: a brand that puts people with acne-prone skin at the center—not the sidelines. A brand that invites us into the world of beauty, not just to clear our skin, but for any other skincare goals we may have. One that’s clinically tested, uncompromisingly acne-safe, and infused with joy.
With banu, I’m proud to redefine acne care and establish a new standard: one that empowers people with acne-prone skin to never settle, and puts us in charge of our skincare journeys. Because this is about more than clear skin. It’s about self-love, confidence, and true freedom.
